Scope of Practice
- Outpatient Only Primary Care
- Call – No inpatient call responsibilities. There is minimal outpatient call of 1:3 but there is an RN triage line to cover first call. This will minimize all nuisance calls.
- There are currently no mid-levels in the clinic.
- Support staff - MAs
- Onsite labs or X-rays:
- There’s a lab onsite.
- The clinic is attached to the hospital and x-rays can be done just down the hall.
- Patient Mix – will treat all ages, but the population in the clinic is 50% geriatrics and only 10-15% pediatrics.
- Current patient panel starts at age 15 or 16.
- Rounding on nursing home patients is an option, but not required.
Candidate Parameters
- Residency trained, and board certified in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine with Pediatrics.
- Open to newly trained as well as experienced candidates.
- MD or DO are welcome.
