A Houston native, Dr. Baker received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her family practice residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Alexandria.

Dedicated to the health of the family unit, Dr. Bevels areas of expertise include geriatric medicine, diabetes and hypertension. He is a strong believer in delivering health care that promotes good communication between the patient and physician.

As a nationally certified physician assistant, Madeline Taylor specializes in family medicine, providing care for patients of all ages.
Madeline’s areas of interest include acute care, women’s health and diabetes management. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants and Association of Family Practice PAs & NPs. She was also inducted into Phi Alpha, a national honor society for physician assistants.
Madeline received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Human Movement Studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
