Navigating the Clinical Component

A Balanced Blend of Procedures and Outpatient Practice

As an interventional cardiologist at Clean Heart Cardiology, your clinical experience will be both focused and fulfilling. You'll join a patient-centered, high-efficiency practice that emphasizes meaningful care over volume-driven pressure. Your week will combine outpatient clinic days, procedural cath lab days, and light hospital rounding during your designated inpatient week. The structure is designed to provide both professional satisfaction and personal balance.

You'll have immediate access to a high volume of referrals, helping reduce the group’s current four-week wait time for new patients. From week two, you can expect a full schedule built on overflow demand, not cold outreach. The procedural volume is steady and growing, with opportunities to expand peripheral and structural interventions based on your interest. While TAVR volume is currently around 10 cases annually, the group is prepared to develop the program further for a physician with structural heart ambitions.

  • Bread-and-butter interventional cardiology: PCI, caths, pacemakers, and select peripheral work
  • Structural heart (TAVR) program with room to grow if desired
  • Dedicated cath lab days with flexibility to shape your procedural schedule
  • STEMI call: 4–5 days per month, shared in a friendly and cooperative multi-group rotation
  • Outpatient-heavy model: majority of RVUs generated through clinic-based care
  • One week of inpatient coverage every third week, typically covering only your group’s patients
  • Typical hospital census: 15–25 on weekends; lighter on weekdays
  • Call rarely disrupts home life: most inpatient consults are handled via phone
