Join Our Team: OB/GYN Specialist at Columbia Memorial Hospital and CMH-OHSU Health Women’s Center
- Primary responsibilities based at Columbia Memorial Hospital and the CMH-OHSU Health Women’s Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Health & Wellness Pavilion adjacent to the hospital
- Balanced practice: Approximately 50% Obstetrics and 50% Gynecology
- 4 delivery rooms with an average of 20 births per month, equating to 5 deliveries per physician
- Current C-section rate: Approximately 30%
- Flexible schedule: Four (4) day clinical work week
- Anticipated volume: Around 20 patients per day
- Candidate expectations: Proficiency in all aspects of OB/GYN
- Future surgical support: Robotic system planned post new hospital completion (model TBD)
Call Schedule
- Current call rotation: 1:3, moving to 1:4 with incoming provider
- Home call: Calls can be taken from home with a 20-minute response time
- OB-focused call: 95% of call volume is OB related
- Comprehensive coverage: Pediatricians on-call for C-section and high-risk deliveries
- MFM support: Provided from Portland and Vancouver
Post Call Schedule
- Clinic focus: Primarily OB patients
- Modified hours: Clinic starts at 9:00 AM and ends with the last patient at 3:00 PM
- Lighter patient load to accommodate recovery
- Patient flexibility: Appointments may be shifted to other providers or rescheduled
