This opportunity represents the addition of a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to a well-established urology team at a 265-bed Level III Trauma Center. With a catchment area of nearly 400,000 residents, demand for urologic services continues to grow, making your role vital in extending access and ensuring patients receive timely care. As the newest member of the team, you’ll help balance the clinical load between inpatient and outpatient care while supporting surgeons in the OR.
Unlike positions that restrict APPs to either clinic or hospital settings, this role blends the best of both. You’ll split your time between inpatient rounding, ER consults, and outpatient clinic visits, with three days in clinic and one day in surgery each week. The mornings are thoughtfully structured, with protected time until 10:00 AM to prioritize inpatient and ER consults before transitioning to clinic responsibilities. This balance ensures that your daily rhythm is consistent but never monotonous.
You’ll enjoy a Monday–Friday daytime schedule that safeguards your evenings and weekends. Call is shared among the team and is manageable, most often involving straightforward cases like kidney stone management, ensuring that you remain actively involved without being overburdened. For APPs seeking a role where expectations are clear, responsibilities are well-distributed, and schedules allow for personal time, this position delivers.
This role offers the chance to build a balanced, sustainable career while making a direct impact on patient access to urologic care in a growing regional health system.
