Understanding the Role

This unique opportunity is designed for a motivated Pain Management Specialist eager to join a dynamic and well-supported practice in the heart of Southwest Oklahoma. The incoming physician will replace a well-established provider, ensuring a busy schedule from the outset. The practice is known for its procedure-heavy approach and offers substantial flexibility to build the scope of services aligned with the candidate’s expertise and interests.

Practice Features:

  • Patient Volume: Expect to see 20–24 patients per clinic day, with 2+ procedure days weekly. Procedure slots include a variety of epidurals, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulations, among others.
  • Facilities: Clinic and procedure rooms are conveniently housed under one roof. Two procedure rooms are operational, with plans for a second C-arm to enhance efficiency.
  • Support Staff: A dedicated team of APRNs, RNs, LPNs, Radiology Technicians, and front-office staff ensures streamlined operations and patient care.
  • Innovative Tools: State-of-the-art equipment includes fluoroscopy machines and an onsite lab utilizing LCMS for precise medication monitoring.

Opportunities and Expectations:

  • Tailor your practice to focus on interventional pain management or incorporate medical pain management, including EMGs, spasticity treatments, or Botox for migraines.
  • Treat a diverse patient population, including chronic pain cases and cancer pain management, with an emphasis on evidence-based, non-opioid therapies.
  • Collaborate with a robust referral network of over 100 primary care providers, 75+ of whom are employed by the hospital, to ensure a steady flow of patients.
  • Enjoy professional autonomy while benefiting from credentialing support for expanding your procedural expertise.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with half-day Fridays.
  • Compensation: A competitive base salary with a productivity model that supports earning potential in the 75th percentile. A $50,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

This is an ideal position for a fellowship-trained (or equivalently skilled) specialist in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), ready to make a meaningful impact in a welcoming community.
