Responsibilities include overseeing clinical operations, aligning medical oncology services across Covenant Health facilities, and representing the group in interactions with other physician groups and executive leadership. This role requires active participation in strategic planning, ensuring seamless integration and standardization of medical oncology services across all sites. The Medical Director will also serve as the face of Thompson Oncology Group, engaging in public events, marketing efforts, and fostering relationships with referring physicians. Administrative duties are complemented by direct patient care, with the director initially maintaining a three-day-per-week clinical schedule.
