The breast imaging practice consists of four dedicated imagers, working primarily at the Rancho Mirage facility, with additional coverage provided at satellite offices in La Quinta and Palm Springs. The successful candidate will work 2-3 days per week in La Quinta, where a significant portion of the workload is managed. The practice offers cutting-edge imaging services, including Hologic tomosynthesis, stereotactic biopsy units (both upright and prone), breast ultrasound, and a Siemens 1.5T MRI unit equipped for breast imaging. Each day, the team handles around 150 screening mammograms, 40 diagnostic mammograms, and 5-6 breast MRIs. All procedures and imaging are managed by the breast imagers, ensuring a high level of specialized care. The position also involves participation in a shared worklist among the three facilities, ensuring a collaborative approach to workload distribution.
