Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

  • The incoming physician will be employed through Finger Lakes Health.
  • Contract length: 3 years
  • The incoming General Cardiologist will have a salary based on fair market value and experience in perpetuity.
  • Additional Compensation: Incoming candidates also have an opportunity to earn additional income through production based on wRVUs. Your threshold will depend on whatever your base salary is according to 2023 MGMA guidelines. A proforma can be provided upon request. 
  • Benefits: Hospital will pay the premium for physician family plan health, dental and prescription plan in accordance with hospital’s benefit plan.
  • PTO: 160 hrs.
  • CME: 40 hrs.
  • CME Allowance: $5k
  • Retirement: Provider will be eligible to participate in Hospital’s 403B plan.
  • Malpractice insurance: Hospital will pay for occurrence base malpractice insurance.
  • Sign-on bonus: $100,000, forgiven/prorated during the terms of the initial agreement.
  • Relocation: $10,000, reimbursed with receipts
  • Student Loan Repayment: up to $30,000 annually paid internally by FLH.
