Collaboration and Education: Participate in grand rounds with other departments, actively engage in resident education, and collaborate with residents in the northeast region.
Patient Management: Manage approximately 20 patients per day, divided between new and follow-up cases, with 20-minute appointment slots for experienced physicians. There is potential to increase patient load with the assistance of Advanced Practitioners (APs) and establish parallel clinics where APs manage their own cases and consult on complex issues.
Call Duties: Call duties are one week every four weeks, primarily involving phone calls with occasional in-person requirements. Initial calls are handled by Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), supported by 4-5 Advanced Practitioners in the northeast region.
