Gainesville

At Gainesville, you will share call with the group at the ONE location you will be covering. Gainesville call is 1:9. APP’s cover overnight. Your night call would be primarily phone.

It is a robust practice; the volume is good and will continue to grow, you will see 24 – 26 patients a day in the clinic. Our providers are averaging 1100-1300 wRVUs per month.

The flagship hospital is adding a new Cardiology tower which will expand the hospital by 160 beds and become a Cardiology Center of Excellence, both inpatient and outpatient. They are a teaching hospital, and you will have the opportunity to teach fellows.

Blairsville

Blairsville is an 8000 square foot clinic. Blairsville is primarily outpatient. There, you will have only inpatient consults at the local hospital, Union General Hospital. The call is 1:6 shared and only on your own patients. Initial consults are 30 minutes and follow-up calls are 20 minutes. They have several specialties on-site and the ones that are not rotate up from Gainesville.

Board Certified in Cardiology and fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Disease
Excellent communication skills
Prefer 2-years clinical experience post residency/fellowship
Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of providers and staff
Superior interpersonal skills, unquestioned integrity, and high level of professionalism
Evidence of exceptional clinical skills and experience to include working with Interventional/Structural heart teams
