The recent accolade carries immense significance, especially given the trying times the hospital has navigated. As voiced by GRH's CEO and President, Jeremy Davis, while the award brings immense pride, the journey to it, especially through the tumultuous period of 2021, has been testamentary to the sheer resilience and dedication of the GRH staff.
Back in January 2022, the institution's forward-thinking vision was further underlined with the announcement of a major expansion. Spawned from an exhaustive three-year review of their Master Facility Plan, this venture, greenlit by the Board of Trustees (BOT), primarily focuses on revamping the operating rooms. Apart from accommodating increasing surgical volumes, this move also aligns with impending state code compliances due by 2028. The meticulous planning phase, marked by extensive consultations, showcases the hospital's commitment to staying abreast of contemporary healthcare needs.
