You will round in the hospital on the inpatient service first and then around your scheduled cath procedures. Office should be split between AM and PM to accommodate patient schedules. In between patients you will do your procedures and inpatient consults, ECHO’s, stress tests, HOLTER’s, EKG’s can all be read. We also do tilt table tests in the stress lab.
In the office you will typically see new patients for 30 minutes and follow ups are 15 minutes. We do not have any PA’s or NP’s working in this practice, but this could change down the road.
In addition to our office space, we have 3 clinic rooms and 2 cath labs. In the cath lab we have Phillips Xper systems. We are in the process of designing 2 new labs. One to be functional 4/1/22 and the second to be functional 8/1/22. We are installing a Flex Arm and Biplane which are both Phillips products in the new labs. We will be adding Mac Lab as the new documentation and hemodynamic monitoring system.
After you, and your spouse or significant other, have reviewed the information on the practice and community, and if you are interested in being considered for the opportunity, kindly forward us a copy of your CV. We will send you our background disclosure form to fill out and send back to us, and we will verify your board certification and all state licenses. If you have any past or currently pending malpractice cases, kindly provide us with documentation as to the outcome or current status of the case.
We will need to spend some time on the phone with you, and your spouse, to gain a clear understanding of your current situation. We will document that information in the form of a cover letter and forward that on to the internal recruiter at Hannibal Regional and then weschedule a phone call with the providers and other administration.
The initial call typically takes place during the weekday at your convenience. Should the phone call go well, we will arrange a date for you to interview on-site. Your spouse, or significant other, and family, are invited to attend the interview and evaluate the community. You will meet with the physicians in your department during the better part of the day to get a feel for their personalities and how you will fit into the group.
