Dr. Burk Young is currently the only full-time orthopedic surgeon on staff. Dr. Mark Schaieb travels in from Hawaii once per month for 10 days to see patients and participate in call, will continue doing this once the new surgeon is on board as needed. In addition to the two Orthopedic providers, the hospital employs a Podiatric Surgeon, Dr. Dusty Christensen. Other support includes 24/7 Anesthesia coverage from a Northern Colorado anesthesia group. This group utilizes both Anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
