The cardiac anesthesia team currently consists of two attending cardiac anesthesiologists, supported by five CRNAs assigned exclusively to the cardiac ORs. The incoming physician will be the third cardiac anesthesiologist, completing a team structure designed to support the expanded surgical volume brought by a third cardiac surgeon joining this summer.
