Compensation Model:
Salary based on clinical hours, responsibilities, and academic contributions
Additional compensation opportunities for research, educational activities, and leadership roles
The standard clinical work schedule is 6 half-day clinics (4 hours each) per week. The base compensation for this schedule is $200,000 per year. Physicians seeing additional half-day clinics beyond the standard 6 per week receive additional compensation per clinic.
$250,000 per year for 8 clinics (4 full days per week).
Other income opportunities include:
Inpatient call coverage - $500 per weekday shift, $700 per weekend shift
Moonlighting at a St. John’s hospital – approximately $1,200 per 8-hour shift
Clinical trial work and principal investigator roles provide stipends
$10,000 - $15,000 per year director stipend.
As the director the physician will provide oversight to MDs and APPs, assist with scheduling, attend and lead meetings, and address patient and staff complaints.
Those interested in a hybrid research/clinical role can schedule fewer required clinics, customizing their FTE. Compensation adjusts based on clinics but research is also compensated. We aim to offer flexibility so physicians can balance their work with personal and professional goals. Questions about customizing arrangements are welcome.
