There are currently 4 rheumatologists in the practice:
Dr. Smarika Sapkota - A new graduate who joined us last year and sees patients 4 days per week. She has a focus on early arthritis and osteoporosis.
Dr. Stuart S. Kassan - One of our original physicians who has been here for 20 years. He oversees the EDS/Hypermobility Clinic and sees patients 3 days per week.
Elizabeth Anne Regan, MD, PhD- A physician-scientist who sees patients 2 days per week and spends the rest of his time conducting translational research.
Mehrnaz Maleki Fischbach, MD – Division Chief and fellowship-trained rheumatologist & researcher who specializes in Sjogren's Syndrome, Scleroderma & autoimmune lung diseases.
Expansion plans to include six rheumatologists and one physician-scientist
