Primary responsibilities will be at one of three (3) locations: Springfield Family Physicians, Centennial Clinic, or McKenzie Valley Primary Care.
- Flexible schedule, four (4) day clinical workweek and one (1) day designated for admin.
- Minimum of 28 hours of patient contact required per week
- 18-22 patients per day. 40 minutes for new patients/procedures/well visits and 20 minutes for all other visits
- Each provider will be responsible for covering occasional nights and Saturday Urgent Care clinic at the Macola location.
• It’s important to note that when you are on the night shift and if you work at the Marcola location, you will work from 12pm-8pm. If you work at one of the other two sites, your day will start at 12pm and you will finish out your day at Marcola from 5pm-8pm. 5pm-8 pm shifts are always urgent care on those late nights
• Saturday Urgent Care shifts are 9am-5pm at Marcola only. There are always two (2) physicians working on Saturdays. - Call is all over the phone and is essentially 1:25 as all providers (physicians and APPs) participate. Except for Sundays, when only physicians cover the call. The reason: triage is not available on Sunday. The average number of calls Monday-Saturday is around 2-3 and Sundays are busier with anywhere from 6-12 calls.
- Northwest Medical Homes will offer support to help with your charting, so you’re spending your time with patients, not charting.
