Northwest Medical Homes

Eugene, Oregon

Due to the need in the community, Northwest Medical Homes (NWMH) is currently recruiting for two (2) Full-time primary care providers. There are currently 25 primary care providers on-staff at NWMH, which is a mixture of physicians and APPs. They have three (3) locations throughout the Eugene/Springfield metroplex (two in Springfield and one in Eugene). Two (2) locations have onsite X-ray, and all locations have labs onsite. The largest location has a nurse-run anticoagulation clinic. NWMH home also employs in-house coders and a triage department/clinical support team from 7am-8pm Monday through Friday, and 9-5 on Saturday.

Family Medicine Overview

This is one of the most accessible and fluid primary care groups that I’ve ever worked with. NWMH and their leadership has designed it that way for a reason; to help everyone be more efficient at their job. Everything is close by for your convenience. Plus, you will be instrumental in continuing to develop and improve the primary care in the Eugene/Springfield metroplex.Candidates will have the option for employment through NWMH or may also have the opportunity for partnership. Partnership IS NOT a guarantee and will depend on tenure as well as availability. Typically, partnership spots open when physicians retire. Currently, there are nine (9) partners.

Healthcare System Overview

Originally Springfield Family Physicians, Northwest Medical Homes was founded in 1980. NWMH specializes in outpatient primary care but also employs clinical pharmacists, nurses, and behavioral health professionals. It’s important to note that this is a practice run by the providers.
