Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the pediatric surgery team, including surgeons, fellows, residents, and support staff
Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and surgical outcomes
Collaborate with other medical departments and specialists to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care for pediatric surgical patients
Oversee the section's clinical activities, including surgical procedures, inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and consultations
Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering excellence in pediatric surgical education
Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations, to advance knowledge and innovation in pediatric surgery
Represent the pediatric surgery section in hospital committees and external professional organizations
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies related to pediatric surgical services

Qualifications:

Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
Experience in performing a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures
Proven leadership and administrative skills
