Phoenix Children's Hospital is currently recruiting pediatric pulmonology physicians to join the team in the bustling and collegial Pulmonary Division. Opportunities are available in both pediatric pulmonology and pediatric pulmonology coupled with sleep medicine.
These enriching roles will operate primarily from the main campus of Phoenix Children's Hospital, which serves as the leading pediatric hospital in the Southwest region. However, coverage will also be provided to seven conveniently located satellite clinics situated within a 45-minute radius of the main hospital campus.
Pulmonology physicians can anticipate a balanced call schedule, averaging one week of call every 6-7 weeks (or one week in 1.5 months typically). This facilitates an optimal balance of clinical and personal time for physicians.
The standard schedule entails 9 clinical half-days per week, plus one protected administrative half-day. Importantly, flexibility in scheduling and clinical time is available to accommodate individual physician needs and preferences.
In these roles, physicians will care for a diverse and medically complex pediatric patient population as part of a collaborative team of specialized providers. The focus is on delivering cutting-edge, family-centered care.
Robust mentoring, professional development, and a pathway to future leadership roles within the expanding Pulmonary Division are also offered for pulmonary physicians at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The organization welcomes interest from recent graduates as well as experienced physicians looking to join the dynamic pulmonary medicine program.
