Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

The compensation for this opportunity is designed to provide both short-term stability and long-term earning potential. New physicians are offered a two-year income guarantee of $650,000, ensuring financial security while they transition into the practice. Once off the guarantee, earnings are determined by a productivity-based “eat what you kill” model, with expected annual income ranging from $700,000 to over $800,000, depending on workload and call participation.

Additional financial incentives include a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 in relocation assistance, both supported by the affiliated hospital. These upfront benefits are tailored to make the relocation and onboarding process seamless for new physicians.

Physicians on call are compensated with stipends of $1,800 per 24-hour call shift at one hospital and $2,000 per shift at the other. Additionally, ERCP procedures performed during call shifts bring an extra $1,000 per procedure. These payments go directly to the group during the guaranteed period and are distributed among partners once the guarantee period ends.

Malpractice insurance is provided during the guaranteed period, but tail coverage is not included. This aligns with the practice’s emphasis on long-term commitment and partnership.

Partnership opportunities typically arise after two years and include buy-ins for the practice, endoscopy center, and other ancillary services, creating avenues for additional income. The practice also offers financial transparency, with overhead costs shared equally among partners to ensure a fair and collaborative business model.
