Our leadership is looking for Neurologists that can practice quality medicine and have an interest in joining the stroke committee to provide advice and input as the Neurology program begins to grow. With a draw area of over 140K and 1 outgoing Neurologist, we are looking for clinically focused Neurologists interested in an 8a-5p Monday through Friday practice with NO assigned call.
Our current Neurologist, Dr. Alapati will be leaving soon. It will be a mutual separation after Dr. Alapati completes his J1 Visa requirement. Dr. Alapati’s practice was clinically focused, with few consultations during the day. Dr. Alapati was not interested in being a part of the stroke call, or on the stroke committee. Administration is okay with a clinically focused neurologist but is looking for someone interested in collaborating with other physicians and administration to improve our Neurology department and its processes.
A full-time Neurologist could be seeing 14+ patients per day in clinic. If you have an interest in EEG and EMG, there will be an opportunity for you. With a large draw area and lack of competition, the hospital will be committed to helping you grow a subspecialty focus as you ramp up your general practice. When you arrive, they will market you to their providers and hold a meet-and-greet for introductions. Hospital administration is focused on provider satisfaction, as well as patient satisfaction.
