To maintain its promise, White Memorial underwent a major reconstructive effort in 2001 by adding a brand new 8-story specialty care tower, a central utilities upgrade, a new lobby, chapel, main entrance construction, and a complete retro lift and remodel of the entire hospital. The entire project was completed in 2013.
While also functioning as a teaching hospital, White Memorial works closely with the medical students and residents and also with the training of nurses and other medical professionals. Their commitment to exceptional patient care has earned them the following awards:
