UC Irvine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is actively recruiting a Division Director for Gynecologic Oncology. The role is for an Associate or Full Professor in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series. The successful candidate will lead a highly respected division known for its research, clinical care, and fellowship programs. As Division Director, you will manage clinical, academic, and research activities, provide mentorship to junior faculty, and oversee financial and strategic planning. The position will also involve holding the prestigious Philip J. DiSaia Endowed Chair in Gynecologic Oncology.
Your responsibilities will include a mix of clinical practice (60-80%) with a focus on gynecologic cancer surgeries, chemotherapy, and ambulatory services. Leadership and research commitments will round out your duties, and you’ll also be involved in teaching and mentoring students, residents, and fellows. The Division Director will be integral to expanding clinical programs at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and affiliated sites.
