As a cardiologist specializing in heart failure, you will step into a transformative leadership role with the opportunity to shape and grow a regional program from the ground up. You’ll join a robust network of over 29 cardiologists serving a metro population of more than one million people in Western New York, where a critical need exists for advanced heart failure services. With a new Heart Failure Director set to start in 2025, you’ll be a foundational member of this pioneering team.
Your practice will initially be centered at a Level I Trauma Center in downtown Buffalo, a hub for innovation and multidisciplinary cardiac care. From there, you’ll help build a program that includes heart failure clinics, APP support, RN remote monitoring, and integration with a developing shock team, LVAD, and transplant capabilities. With no existing heart failure program in the region, the patient need is enormous and immediate, giving your work substantial clinical impact and visibility.
You’ll join an organization that balances the infrastructure of a large health system with the personal feel of a close-knit, physician-respected practice environment. Whether you’re driven by the opportunity to shape care delivery or energized by team-based care, this role places you at the heart of a major regional initiative—with the resources and community support to succeed.
