This Family Medicine position at Ivinson Memorial Hospital offers full-scope primary care in a supportive, team-based environment. Physicians provide comprehensive care for patients age 2 through adulthood, and a shared call schedule for pediatrics (only ages 2 – 17) with no obstetric deliveries required and only 10 pediatric admits in the last five months.

Key Responsibilities & Schedule

  • Full-scope outpatient Family Medicine with optional minor procedures.
  • Four clinic days per week (32 patient-facing hours).
  • One protected administrative day for chart completion, meetings, and professional development.
  • Inpatient pediatric call for ages 2–17 only, 7 days per month, typically grouped into 3–4 day blocks (phone call only unless patient needs to admit).
  • Extremely low call volume: 10 total pediatric admits over the past 5 months, with some months seeing zero.
  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner provides 24/7 coverage for ages 0–2 (no neonatal primary responsibility).
  • Optional additional call shifts available at $1,500 per 24 hours.
  • Most issues manageable remotely via Epic EMR access.
  • Call schedule arranged collaboratively to respect personal commitments.
  • No adult inpatient or OB call.
