The contract is for 2 years and is auto-renewable unless one party exercises the 120-day notification requirement. Compensation will consist of a guaranteed salary and a highly attainable bonus based on patient encounters.
This bonus is based upon encounter numbers and quality and is paid out twice per year. The provider will receive $45.00 (Forty-Five Dollars) per encounter for each encounter over the UDS benchmark for their credentialing (Pediatrician - 223 per month or 2,676 per year). To receive the full amount, five of seven agreed upon UDS measures must be at or above quality benchmarks. Payout will be prorated if there are fewer than five benchmarks met. These benchmarks will be reviewed yearly and may be updated if there are problems meeting goals that are out of Provider control.
There are 30 days off: 16 days of PTO, 10 holidays, and 4-days of paid CME. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) your malpractice insurance is covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act and includes tail coverage.
There is a benefits package consisting of Medical, Dental and Vision, that is 100% covered for the employee. They provide a 403(b)-retirement plan, the non-profit equivalent of a 401(k), that will match 50% of the first 6%.
