You will become part of a dynamic and supportive academic department where collaboration is the norm. Within adult critical care, you’ll join a team of eight faculty physicians who share the responsibility of advancing perioperative and ICU care for high-acuity patients. Together, you’ll deliver care that blends evidence-based practice with innovation, supported by a culture that values quality improvement and patient safety.
Beyond the ICU, you will work in a large department of over 40 anesthesiologists, complemented by a robust resident program of 48 physicians and two fellows annually. This academic richness ensures that you are never working in isolation—whether you’re troubleshooting an ECMO circuit with a colleague, teaching a resident during line placement, or mentoring a fellow through the nuances of postoperative management.
Your efforts are supported by a highly skilled anesthesia care team including 41 CRNAs and three CAAs. This team-based model not only enhances patient care but also allows you to focus on the most complex cases and academic responsibilities, knowing that routine tasks are efficiently managed.
