Schedule:

There will be 3 main buckets of work with NO deliveries on a rotating schedule. Ideally, when fully staffed at 4 MFMs there will be two providers working in the office, one who is rotating through the residency program, and one who is managing telehealth. Call is homebased via telephone call (homebased) for dire emergencies. Tampa is the tertiary care center for the entire west Florida division, so all higher levels of care needed would be transferred here. You are the final stop!

Full scope MFM office based only – consults/ultrasound, -etc.

Academic residency program and being the inpatient attending, rounding with residents and doing IP consults, -etc.

Telehealth platform – serving a broad geographic area over the entire west Florida division and patients via telehealth.

All work is ready from day one. All infrastructure is in place with brand new equipment including ultrasound systems, with the latest and greatest technology.

We have MFM trained sonographers helping with all ultrasounds.

The hospital has 5 DaVinci Xi robots.

AdventHealth Tampa hospital boasts one of the most advanced Labor and Delivery units in the Tampa Bay area. With a level III NICU, ten beautifully designed labor, delivery, and recovery suites, and a six-bed triage area, the Women's Health Pavilion provides Couplet Care.

Our OBED is an extension of the main emergency room and is fully staffed with OB Hospitalists and specialists. They treat pregnancy and postpartum-related concerns such as preterm labor, pre-eclampsia, bleeding, ruptures, blood pressure, etc.

There is a level 3 NICU staffed with emergency-trained team members 24/7, which includes board-certified neonatologists, neonatal respiratory therapists, rehabilitation experts, and specialized nurses. There seems to be ECMO across AdventHealth and in Orlando, but not specific to Tampa right now.

The hospital utilizes Epic EMR.
