Contract & Benefits

Compensation and Benefits

Contracts are W2 permanent employed at 1.0 FTE, generally for a 3-year term. Your signing bonus will be tied to that for prorated payback amounts if you leave early. Your malpractice coverage will be paid for by the employer and is occurrence based. The non-compete is generally 1-year with a 15-mile radius.

The below is flexible on a case-by-case basis for justifiable reasons. Discuss with Ryan.

Compensation of $555,000 will be guaranteed income in year one. This does not include any additional incentives as total compensation consists of 3 lucrative buckets; AdventHealth understands they must come to the table given the limited pool of candidates: There will be a base salary of $500,000 with a $40,000 signing bonus (year 1), and educational incentives (in perpetuity) of $15,000. The conversion factor for wRVUs is $58.00 with a threshold of 8,620 wRVUs.

There are 13 weeks of unrestricted call (do it where you want!) is included in the base compensation.

AdventHealth employees receive excellent benefits with Aetna; medical, dental, vision (VSP), and more, including a $100/mo cellphone stipend and up to $5,000 for CME. Advent loves its family time and offers maternity and paternity leave.

A 403b retirement plan with a 4% match is offered, and 26 PTO days are given, not including the 5 days you receive for CME (tip, you can take your CME in Hawaii for extra vacation time!)

Being a 501c3 non-profit, this facility would qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

We can entertain H1b Visa candidates as we are academically affiliated and a 501c3 non-profit.
