As a CRNA in this role, you’ll step into a fully independent practice environment that empowers you to manage cases from start to finish, with collaboration only required in specific high-acuity scenarios. The clinical workflow is diverse and well-structured — you’ll rotate between a 176-bed Level II Trauma Center and a modern ambulatory surgery center, both offering a range of complex and outpatient cases. You’ll manage epidurals, nerve blocks, arterial lines, and central access, and play a hands-on role in labor analgesia and pre-op assessments. Anesthesiologists only step in for ASA 4 cases, trauma, or pediatric patients under three, giving you true autonomy in your clinical work.
Expect a fast-paced but supported practice, with weekday case volumes between 35–45 and weekend volumes around 20. You’ll find deep professional satisfaction managing everything from orthopedic procedures to pediatric dental and ENT cases in the surgery center. Whether it’s a full epidural suite or a tranquil outpatient setting, you’ll bring your expertise to a broad range of patient needs.
