Understanding The Clinical Component
As the new Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician at Bozeman Health, you will join a well-equipped, state-of-the-art Women's Specialists Clinic, designed to provide advanced care to patients with high-risk pregnancies. The clinic offers three exam rooms, each with access to ultrasound technology, allowing for comprehensive diagnostic capabilities. You will manage an average of 18 patients per day, focusing on consultative care for complex conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid and kidney disorders, gastrointestinal and infectious diseases, as well as pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia and fetal growth restriction. Additionally, you will provide specialized care for patients with multiple gestations and recurrent pregnancy losses.
In this role, you will also oversee telehealth consults for patients in surrounding rural areas, including Helena (33K), Butte (35K), Livingston (8K), and Dylan (4K), ensuring that women across the region have access to top-tier MFM expertise. You will be entrusted with overseeing patient care, managing both routine and complex cases, and helping to shape the future of MFM services at Bozeman Health.
