Bozeman Health is seeking a new Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to join our well-established practice, driven by the upcoming departure of our current MFM, Dr. Sina. The Bozeman Health Women’s Specialists Clinic is equipped with three ultrasound rooms and a team of four MFM-trained sonographers, with two also floating between radiology and breast ultrasound. Our clinic is supported by two dedicated MFM nurses and one medical assistant, ensuring comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies. On average, our MFM physician sees 20 patients per day from Monday through Thursday, with plans to open Friday scheduling in the near future. Additionally, the MFM physician also reads approximately 40 OB ultrasounds per month for Sound Diagnostics, which is not affiliated with Bozeman Health but contracts with our team for ultrasound readings. Our physician assistant, Kelsey Ogilvie, also supports the practice, handling follow-up appointments, routine ultrasounds, and gestational diabetes education and management.
In 2023, Bozeman Health delivered 1,290 babies, falling just 14 deliveries short of our projections. Our NICU, a Level II facility, admitted 240 infants throughout the year, including inborn infants as well as readmissions and transfers from other hospitals. Our VBAC success rate was an impressive 83.3% for patients who met Bozeman Health's criteria for a trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC). This position presents an exceptional opportunity to join a well-supported team with access to advanced resources, where you can quickly establish yourself in a high-demand, flexible role while managing both routine and complex cases.
This position offers you the chance to practice in a stunning location, balancing professional fulfillment with an outdoor lifestyle. Bozeman Health serves as a hub for advanced maternal care in a growing, health-conscious population, where patient outcomes and work-life balance are prioritized.
