Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Central Peninsula General Hospital structures physician compensation to reward production. The ENT position offers a base salary plus work RVU incentive model targeting the 90th percentile of MGMA total compensation. RVU incentive earnings begin with the first patient, with no production threshold to clear before bonuses activate.

For physicians who prefer income stability while building their practice, a second option is available: a guaranteed salary with no RVU requirement. Once fully established, physicians may transition into the productivity-based model.

Call Expectations

ENT call will be no more than 10 days per month. Additional details regarding the specific call structure and coverage model can be clarified with the client during the interview process.

Financial Proforma Analysis

A full financial proforma model requires a confirmed RVU conversion factor. Once that figure is confirmed by the client, a complete production-based projection will be added. Under Option 1, physicians producing at even modest RVU levels are structured to reach the 90th percentile target quickly given the no-threshold incentive design.
