Comprehensive Cardiac Care in a Collaborative Setting

Your clinical experience at Conway Medical Center will be defined by access to exceptional technology, a collegial multispecialty team, and an emphasis on quality, continuity, and convenience for your patients. You’ll see a diverse adult population with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular needs, providing general cardiology care in both outpatient and consultative inpatient settings. A full complement of cardiac diagnostics is available on-site, including advanced imaging capabilities such as stress echo, nuclear, cardiac CT, and MRI.

The environment is supportive, structured, and designed for success. You’ll work within a dedicated cardiology suite connected to the Cath Lab, alongside interventional and electrophysiology colleagues who prioritize teamwork and coordinated care. The hospital features a 14-bed Cardiac Monitoring Unit (CMU), 2-room Cath Lab, and 10 operating rooms. The system’s robust infrastructure includes a full cardiac device clinic and skilled cardiac tech support, allowing you to focus on high-level care without administrative burden.

  • Patient population: Adults with diverse cardiovascular conditions, ranging from routine hypertension to complex arrhythmias
  • Average daily census: 18–22 patients in clinic
  • Visit types: New consults, follow-ups, imaging reviews, and coordination of care
  • Consultative-only hospital work; hospitalists manage admissions
  • On-call responsibilities: Limited to 1:6 rotation, consultative only
  • Imaging tools: TTE/TEE, treadmill and nuclear stress testing, Cardiac CT, and MRI
  • Full device clinic on site for pacemaker and ICD support
  • Cerner EMR and Dragon Dictation enable efficient documentation
  • Collegial environment with shared call and clinical coverage among general and interventional cardiologists
