This General Pathology role offers a unique opportunity to join a team of highly experienced professionals in Southern California. The group comprises seven pathologists, including five full-time and two part-time members, with subspecialty expertise in hematopathology, dermatopathology, immunohistochemistry, breast pathology, cytology, and more. The ideal candidate is AP/CP board certified with a fellowship or expertise in GYN, breast pathology, or dermatopathology. While three or more years of post-graduate experience is preferred, highly qualified new fellows are also considered. This position is replacing one of our existing full-time pathologists who will be retiring in May 2025.
The position provides a perpetual base salary of $406,000 with an additional monthly RVU production bonus. Responsibilities include participating in tumor boards, management conferences, and covering a single 476-bed not-for-profit hospital with a 500,000 service area and 11 ACGME-accredited training programs. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Olympic microscopes, 3D breast biopsy machines, EPIC EMR, and advanced slide cameras.
