Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Lake Charles Memorial Health System offers a competitive base salary with a wRVU-based productivity bonus. Physicians who build and maintain strong patient volume have earning potential up to the 90th percentile of MGMA benchmarks for internal medicine. The practice is structured to support high productivity, and existing physicians in the group are performing well above median. The combination of a stable established panel, strong APP support, and Epic's AI documentation tools gives incoming physicians a real path to strong production from the start.

All billing is managed in-house by a dedicated coding team. Physicians do not handle billing independently. The team audits documentation, coaches on appropriate coding levels, and handles all claim submission.
