Meet The Team

Memorial Medical Group operates one of the largest employed internal medicine networks in southwest Louisiana, with physicians across four core clinic locations plus the Moss Memorial Health Clinic. The incoming physician will be placed at the main campus clinic on Oak Park Boulevard and will share call rotation and network resources with the broader group.

Ronald Lewis Jr., MD Board-certified internist with more than 20 years of practice at Lake Charles Memorial. Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He previously served the health system as Medical Director of Home Health and is a Golden Stethoscope Award recipient. His clinical focus includes diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and chronic disease management.

Ashlyn Brown, MD Board-certified internist and Lake Charles native. Dr. Brown earned her medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed her internal medicine residency at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, serving as chief resident. Her clinical focus includes chronic disease management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and lifestyle medicine.

Brian Clements, MD Board-certified internist with more than 20 years of practice at Lake Charles Memorial. Dr. Clements earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency at the University of South Alabama. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Calcasieu Parish Medical Society, and is a Golden Stethoscope Award recipient.

Taylor Clements, MD Board-certified internist and Lake Charles native with additional certification in lifestyle medicine from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Clements earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed his internal medicine residency at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. His practice focuses on addressing root causes of chronic disease through nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management.

Craig Greenman, MD Board-certified internist. Dr. Greenman earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed his internal medicine and pediatrics residency at LSU Health Sciences Center, serving as chief resident. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.

Edward Hebert, MD Board-certified internist. Dr. Hebert earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Louisiana State Medical Society.

W. Gerry Hebert, MD Board-certified internist with extensive experience in southwest Louisiana. Dr. Hebert earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and residency at LSU School of Medicine's Charity Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Calcasieu Parish Medical Society.

Muhammad Atif Jadoon, MD Board-certified internist practicing in Lake Charles since 2010. Dr. Jadoon earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi and completed his internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He contributed to nephrology and cardiovascular research at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York earlier in his career.

Jason Langhofer, DO Board-certified internist. Dr. Langhofer earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and completed his internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, serving as chief resident. He has served as Medical Staff President on the Lake Charles Memorial Health System Board of Directors and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.

Mir Khan, MD Board-certified internist. Dr. Khan earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. His clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, hypertension, thyroid disease, and preventive care. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American Medical Association.

Mark LaFuria, MD Board-certified internist with nearly 20 years of practice in southwest Louisiana. Dr. LaFuria earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Calcasieu Parish Medical Society.

Ping K. "Albert" Lie, MD Internist with fellowship training in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. Dr. Lie earned his medical degree from the University of Münster in Germany and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, with additional academic studies in cardiology at Michigan State University.

Mohammed Sarwar, MD Internist and Fellow of the American College of Physicians with a particular focus on diabetes care. Dr. Sarwar has served as Director of the Diabetes Clinic and holds certification as a diabetic-preferred provider from the American Diabetic Association. He completed his residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and is a Golden Stethoscope Award recipient.

Muhammad Shaikh, MD Internist with over 20 years of practice at Moss Memorial Health Clinic and former director of the award-winning Asthma Clinic at the LSU Disease Management Program. Dr. Shaikh completed his residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
