To support practice-building efforts, new physicians are guaranteed a base salary of $450,000 for the first two years regardless of wRVUs generated. If a physician exceeds this base through high productivity, additional performance bonuses may be provided. There is no downside risk or repayment required if the physician does not meet the base during the ramp-up period. Guarantees may be extended for a third year at the discretion of the administration.
Compensation Model:
The practice employs a tiered salary plus wRVU compensation model to reward productivity and clinical workload. This model is designed to ensure fair compensation while encouraging high performance.
Potential Earnings:
Annual earnings range from $350,000 to $750,000, depending on physician productivity and clinical workload. Payments are structured into tiers:
First Tier: Pays $107 per wRVU up to the 50th percentile of MGMA targets.
Second Tier: Pays $114 per wRVU from the 50th to 80th percentile of MGMA targets.
Third Tier: Pays $145 per wRVU above the 80th percentile of MGMA targets.

Retirement Planning Resources:
403(b) Retirement Plan. NJH contributes 6% of earnings up to the Social Security wage base, then 11% of earnings up to the IRS compensation limit.
457 Plan. Eligible employees who earn a minimum of the Social Security Wage Base are able to participate in this plan. In addition to participating fully in the 403(b) plan, the 457 plan allows eligible employees to defer additional contributions on a pre-tax basis.
