Meet Our Team

You'll join a small radiology group that has worked together since its private practice days. The group describes itself as open and communicative, with equal input from every member. Physicians share lunches and team dinners and rotate reading rooms day to day. Several radiologists who left the group have since come back.

  • Imaging informatics

Team Longevity

HMC's imaging staff has deep roots at the hospital. The imaging director has worked at HMC for 27 years, starting as a technologist and moving into leadership. Technologist experience ranges from 30 years at HMC to recent graduates, and HMC trains imaging students and PA students in the department.

Working With Other Services

Orthopedics: Radiologists attend the monthly orthopedic meeting, which helped grow MSK ultrasound referrals.

Neurosurgery: HMC neurosurgeons drive a high volume of spine imaging.

Cardiology: Cardiologists work in the same outpatient imaging building and use a radiology reading station as a backup.

OHSU: Subspecialty services HMC doesn't offer are available through OHSU, and patients move between HMC and OHSU sites based on access.
