South Suburban Gastroenterology is a robust, GI private practice in South Chicago. You will be joining an established team of five (5). This is a quality-of-life practice with a 2-year path to partnership and an opportunity to be a shareholder in GI Alliance (GIA), the largest Gastroenterology Management Service Organizations (MSO) in the country.
South Suburban GI (SSGI) is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join its growing team of five (5) gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers. As a member of GI Alliance, you will be part of one of the most fluid and accessible GI private practices in the state. Their endoscopy suites are in the clinic for easy efficiency, and they have in-house CRNAs that administer Propofol. This is a busy practice, performing over 4,500 cases in the office. You will be based out of their clinic location in Homewood, IL.
This practice will be a mixture of clinical and hospital work. Currently each provider has privileges at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial and Advocate South Suburban Hospital. This is general, bread and butter Gastroenterology, where you will be performing scopes in the clinic. The clinic has two (2) endoscopy suites and twelve (12) recovery beds. Higher risk procedures are performed in the hospital. Candidates interested in advanced procedures (EUS and ERCP), will have the opportunity to do those in an inpatient setting. However, SSGI preference is candidates looking for general GI.
You will have a chance to be a partner in SSGI and a shareholder in the MSO. There is a two-year path to partnership with Zero buy-in. To top it off, GIA will provide you with the funds to purchase stock in their MSO!
