High-Acuity Care in a Fully Supported Clinical Environment

As Medical Director, you’ll not only lead the department—you’ll remain deeply engaged in patient care. The clinical environment at Salem Health offers a full-spectrum, high-acuity experience that allows you to maintain a sharp skillset in both obstetrics and gynecology, while relying on a strong support network. With advanced surgical infrastructure, a dedicated L&D anesthesiologist, and 24/7 neonatology coverage, you can focus on what matters most: delivering safe, high-quality care.

You’ll see a diverse patient population with significant GYN surgical needs and a substantial number of high-risk OB patients. With the only Level III NICU in the area and a 27% C-section rate, you'll frequently manage complex cases, but with the peace of mind that comes from a cohesive, team-based care model.
