Your practice at Stella Mattina will encompass the full spectrum of outpatient Family Medicine, managing a diverse patient population seeking accessible, quality primary care throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. You’ll see patients across all age groups—from pediatric wellness visits to geriatric chronic disease management—offering the kind of comprehensive, continuity-based care that makes Family Medicine both intellectually engaging and professionally rewarding.
Unlike narrowly focused urgent care roles that limit scope and continuity, this position provides genuine primary care with long-term patient relationships, diagnostic variety, and meaningful clinical complexity. You’ll deliver preventive care, manage chronic conditions, treat acute illnesses, address mental health concerns, and coordinate specialty care—all within a supportive, physician-led organization that values sustainable practice.
You’ll serve a broad demographic representative of the DFW region—working families, pediatric patients, adults with chronic conditions, and older adults requiring complex care management. Practice locations in Arlington, Bedford, and Rockwall each reflect unique community identities, offering variety and stability within your patient panel.
Stella Mattina’s payer mix ensures both accessibility and sustainability. The practice accepts commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid, allowing you to provide quality care without being constrained by excessive volume expectations or restrictive financial models.
You’ll practice at the top of your license within a framework that balances clinical autonomy and collaborative support. The practice encourages APPs to perform procedures consistent with their training and credentials while maintaining easy access to physician colleagues for complex cases. This balance fosters confidence, growth, and safety without micromanagement or isolation.
This is outpatient Family Medicine as it should be: no call, no weekends, no hospital work. Your clinical responsibilities end when the clinic day ends. You’ll never take patient calls at dinner, cover weekend shifts, or make inpatient rounds. Instead, you’ll enjoy predictable weekday hours and complete separation between work and personal time.
Stella Mattina uses eClinicalWorks (ECW) as its EMR platform, enhanced by the organization’s virtual physician scribe service that transforms documentation efficiency. During your patient visits, a virtual MD scribe manages your entire workflow—notes, prescriptions, referrals, and orders—in real time. You’ll review and approve, not type and edit.
The result: no after-hours charting, no “pajama time” documentation, and more direct patient care. You’ll end each day with your charts complete and your evening free.
You’ll work with two dedicated medical assistants who ensure smooth patient flow, handle vitals and room prep, and assist with procedures. This staffing ratio allows you to focus on clinical decision-making rather than administrative tasks.
You’ll also benefit from established referral networks across the DFW area, hospital affiliations for continuity of care, and a centralized administrative infrastructure handling scheduling, billing, and insurance management—letting you concentrate on what truly matters: patient care.
Stella Mattina invests in your ongoing professional growth through generous CME time and allowances, peer mentorship, and collaborative learning opportunities. You’ll work alongside experienced physicians who view APPs as clinical partners, not subordinates—creating a culture of continuous improvement and intellectual engagement.
This is Family Medicine designed for fulfillment and longevity—comprehensive care without burnout, supported by advanced documentation systems, adequate staffing, and physician-led infrastructure. At Stella Mattina, you’ll rediscover the satisfaction of practicing medicine, not managing paperwork.
