As a Hematology/Oncology physician, you can expect to see 12-14 patients a day, providing expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of various cancer types and benign hematology conditions. The scope of cases includes breast, prostate, pancreas, colorectal, GYN, head and neck, lung, lymphoma, melanoma, GI, and other solid tumors, with the majority being benign hematology cases (35-40%) and malignant hematology cases (5.54%).
Our clinic offers a comprehensive range of services to support our providers, including weekly multi-disciplinary tumor conferences, and an active cancer committee. We also have a dedicated Support and Survivorship Program, Oncology Certified Dietician, Patient Navigation & Social Services, Lung Navigator, Surgery, and an Infusion Center with 20 Infusion Chairs and 2 private rooms overlooking our rooftop tranquility garden for patients to enjoy.
In addition, we have a Radiation Oncology department with Elekta Infinity (VMAT technology) for Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). We have PET/CT, MRI, and CT; LDCT screening available for our patients, and we actively engage in community prevention and screening programs.
We are also excited to share that our clinic is undergoing a $4 million renovation project, expanding the Infusion Center to the 3rd floor of the Cancer Center and building out patient services including a physical fitness area, meditation area, multipurpose room, and dietician services.
As a part of our dedicated team, you will be supported by a skilled and compassionate support staff, including 7 chemo certified RNs in infusion, 3 RNs in the physician clinic, 3 Medical Assistants, 1 oral chemotherapy nurse, Patient Financial Counselor, Authorization Specialist, Manager, Receptionists, Schedulers, Clinical Research Nurse, Dietician, RN Patient Navigator, Social Worker Navigator, and 2 NPs who work closely with the physicians to assist with chemo clearances and see patients every other visit, dependent on provider choice. We also have a Program Director and Service Line Administrator to support the overall management and administration of our clinic.
