Position #1 Burleson, TX:
Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South is a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth. Texas Health holds majority ownership share and AdventHealth manages operations of the hospital. The hospital serves the communities of Johnson and southern Tarrant counties since opening in 1977.
This is a traditional OBGYN practice with a mix of 70-75% OB and 25-30% GYN. However, we may consider candidates that have interest in doing more GYN. Below are further details of the position:
Obstetrics & Gynecology:
Schedule:
Monday through Friday – 36 patient contact hours per week and 4 hours of administrative time.
The clinic is open 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Practice volumes:
Clinic:
See an average of 20-25 patients per day.
There are multiple options for clinic space on the hospital campus.
Clinics are set up to function with a physician, 1 APP (APP added once fully ramped up), 1 MA and typical front office staff.
The clinic will have an in-house lab with lab techs. Turnaround time is 24 hours or less on lab results.
GYN and Deliveries Volumes:
1,400+ births per year. 20-25 deliveries per month per provider.
25% C-section rate.
8-10 GYN procedures per week. Bread and butter GYN cases.
The hospital has 9 OR’s with plans to expand to 14.
3 Da Vinci Robots
Backup Call – Providers will take 1:6 backup call to the OBGYN Hospitalist team and call is take one week at a time. The Hospitalist team provides a great work/life balance. On average, you’ll receive 0-1 call per week while on backup call.
Clinic Call – You will be on call for your own patients for the clinic. Very rare that you get calls at night.
EMR – Epic in the hospital and clinic.
9 OR’s with plans of expanding to 14.

Position #2 Mansfield, TX:

This is a traditional OBGYN practice with a mix of 70-75% OB and 25-30% GYN. However, we may consider candidates that have interest in doing more GYN. Below are further details of the position:
Obstetrics & Gynecology:
Schedule:
Monday through Friday – 36 patient contact hours per week and 4 hours of administrative time.
The clinic is open M-Th .7a-7p, Fri 7a–12p.
Practice volumes:
Clinic:
See an average of 25-30 patients per day.
Doc 1: 20-25 patients per day
Doc 2: 30-35 patients per day
Doc 3: 35-45 patients per day
All three physicians are in the same clinic. Schedule is set up so not all of them are in the clinic at the same time.
One of our docs changed her schedule to M,T,W,Th: 8-5, however this is subject to change, as schedule and patient volume is intense.
Clinics are set up to function with a physician, 1 MA and typical front office staff.
We do not have in-house lab, since this clinic is in the professional office building. Docs put orders in and patients walk downstairs to main hospital registration to have outpatient lab draw these for them.
GYN and Deliveries Volumes:
700+ births per year. The busiest provider does an average of 20 deliveries a month; the slowest provider does about 11. We want them to be at 15-20.
3-4 GYN procedures per week. Bread and butter GYN cases.
1 Da Vinci Robots
Current Call schedule is 1:3
Office together and share clinic call 1:3 one week at a time.
Clinic call is rotated based on the hospital call schedule, which is done 3 months at a time.
Inpatient call is 1:4 and are done with the help of locums/contract physicians. Physicians create their own schedule as a team. They have control of the call schedule.
Hospitalist to be added Q 2 of 2025
Backup Call – Providers will take 1:3 backup call to the OBGYN Hospitalist team and call is taken one week at a time. The Hospitalist team provides a great work/life balance.

Blocked OR time on Wednesdays for OBGYN and Mondays every 2nd and 4th week all day.

Level 1 NICU but level 2 application to be submitted in 2025
8 NICU beds available, staff for 2 but hiring more NICU nurses.
We take 35 weeks or above and transfer out those who need a higher level of care and are stable, which is the standard for Level I; but as we work on Level II, the transfer is reviewed and discussed with all providers prior to transfer.
NEW: As of November 5, the group of midwives we had on campus will leave. They are building a big birthing center in FW and will transition there. The decision is up in the air whether we will employ our own midwives or not. But that’s what we may end up doing.
