Greeley-Evans School District serves more than 22,000 students in the communities of Greeley and Evans, Colorado. There are 27 district-operated schools, six charter schools and an online academy (Engage Online Academy). The University of Northern Colorado is one of the biggest employers in Greeley and is home to more than 13,000 students. UNC adds a thriving environment to Greeley, and is known for its strong Business, Education, Nursing and Performing and Visual Arts Programs. UNC comprises six colleges: College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Natural and Health Sciences, College of Performing and Visual Arts, Monfort College of Business and University College. Aims Community College main campus is also located in Greeley. With affordable tuition rates, ACC enrolls nearly 5,000 students, and offers daytime, evening, and online classes to meet their student’s needs. They offer more than 160 degree and certificate programs in computer science, surgical technology, health and fire science, aviation and energy, and women’s studies.
