Position Overview

Union Health is an integrated health system made up of Union Hospital, Union Medical Group, and Union Hospital Clinton.

The primary focus of an integrated health system is to provide seamless care for patients and their families. What makes integrated health care special is the sharing of information among caregivers. By sharing health information through a single medical record system, important patterns can be detected and addressed quickly. Teamwork between caregivers supports "complete" treatment and improves overall patient well-being.  

Professional

  • General Adult Neurology – Outpatient Only  
  • General Bread and Butter Neurology 
  • Frequent diagnosis include; headaches, dementia, Alzheimer’s, stroke, epilepsy, MS, and Parkinson’s 
  • Subspecialties Can Be Supported Such as: Peds, MS, Movement, Parkinson’s 
  • EMG, EEG, EP Avaliable  
  • Average patient volume 20-25 per day.  30 minutes for new patients, 15 minutes for return visits 
  • Average hospital consults per day are 1-5
  • 2-3 calls per week after 5pm
  • Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation.
