Position Overview

Union Health is an integrated health system made up of Union Hospital, Union Medical Group, and Union Hospital Clinton.

The primary focus of an integrated health system is to provide seamless care for patients and their families. What makes integrated health care special is the sharing of information among caregivers. By sharing health information through a single medical record system, important patterns can be detected and addressed quickly. Teamwork between caregivers supports "complete" treatment and improves overall patient well-being.  

Professional

  • Need for Pulm/CC – 50% Sleep Available 
  • Closed ICU 
  • Dedicated Inpatient & Outpatient Support Staff 
  • Hospitalists Admit & Round – Pulm/CC Consults 
  • Only Pulmonary Call – VERY Light 
  • 11PM – 7AM: Average Calls Per Month: 3-4 
  • 3PM – 11PM: Average Calls Per Month: 2-3 
  • Nurse Triage Call Assistance 
  • Average patient volume 25-30 per day.  30 minutes for new patients, 15 minutes for return visits 
  • 4-5 New Consults Per Day 
  • Procedures; Bronchoscopy 
  • Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation.
