As part of this role, you'll practice at both St. Bernardine Medical Center and within the Pulse Cardiology network—a dual site model that gives you access to diverse patient populations, full-service cath labs, and structural heart programs already in motion. Both institutions are highly regarded in the Inland Empire for their cardiovascular care, and your presence will be a vital part of shaping their next chapter.
Founded in 1931 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, St. Bernardine Medical Center is a 342-bed nonprofit, faith-based hospital that delivers high-acuity, community-centered care in the heart of the Inland Empire. Operated by Dignity Health, it serves as a regional referral center for advanced cardiac services, and is a cornerstone of medical education and innovation in San Bernardino County. In addition to offering comprehensive cardiovascular services, St. Bernardine is known for its high nurse-to-patient ratios, efficient OR/cath lab turnover times, and collaborative cross-specialty support. You’ll be stepping into a system designed for efficient, high-volume care, without sacrificing teaching, compassion, or continuity.
Pulse Cardiology is the private-practice anchor of this opportunity. Known as the Inland Empire’s premier cardiology group, the practice offers a robust procedural portfolio, streamlined referral patterns, and strong brand recognition in a competitive market. Its affiliation with Alpha Care Medical Group provides additional MSO and IPA resources, allowing the group to focus on what matters: patient care and physician success.
Pulse’s outpatient volume is high and growing. With multiple partners set to retire or reduce hours, you’ll inherit both clinic and procedural volume while enjoying the freedom to further develop your structural or peripheral subspecialty interest.
What makes this opportunity unique is how seamlessly both institutions work together to support your success. Whether you're performing a Watchman implant at St. Bernardine or conducting follow-up care at Pulse, the infrastructure, people, and leadership are aligned. You won’t be bogged down by competing systems or bureaucratic silos—just good medicine, well supported.
Whether your focus is procedural volume, academic mentorship, or long-term private practice equity, this blended setting allows you to pursue your path with clarity. Both St. Bernardine and Pulse Cardiology offer the leadership stability, growth runway, and operational support to ensure your success without sacrificing autonomy or patient relationships.
You'll walk into a facility ecosystem with credibility, history, infrastructure, and volume—all aligned to make you a leader in one of the most dynamic cardiology markets in Southern California.
